Inside the Finca



The spacious living room has three welcoming fireplaces and offers glorious views of the breathtaking Sierra de Gredos and surrounding meadows



Within the main house there are nine air-conditioned bedrooms, sleeping up to 16 guests, all en-suite and recently renovated



Extra space for a further eight people is available in the newly restored Guest House, with four spacious en-suite bedrooms, livingroom and kitchen



Make yourself at home and relax by one of the fireplaces in the living room or drawing room



Curl up on a comfortable sofa in the drawing room with a good book or watch television



Browse the shelves of books in the library and relax in front of the fire with your selection



Play a game of cards and enjoy a drink from the drawing room bar

Stroll around the expansive estate grounds and marvel at the varieties of trees and flowers at the foot of the majestic Sierra de Gredos mountains

Play Padel tennis on the courts in the grounds

Join your gamekeeper for a day’s hunting (during specific seasons only)

Try your hand at falconry in the capable hands of an experienced falconer

Try some open-water swimming in one of the many beautiful gorges and streams in the Comarca de la Vela



Visit the nearby Monastery of Yuste, founded in 1402 by the Hieronymite Order of monks, and incorporating the GermanCemetery of Yuste



Come in springtime when the hills in the valley turn completely white with cherry blossom and enjoy a plethora of events andfestivals taking place across the area in celebration of the Cherry Blossom



Borrow a bicycle and spend the day exploring the beautiful Valle de la Jerte



Hike in the Sierra de Gredos and enjoy the pretty mountain flora. If you’re lucky, you may even see the local mountain goats



Play a round of golf at the nearby Talayuela course, designed by Severiano Ballesteros and a mere 20 minutes away by car



Visit one of the many fine gastronomic restaurants in the surrounding area, such as Atrio and Tierra

Location

Finca Valmorisco is located in the foothills of the Sierra de Gredos, between Caceres, Avila and Toledo, in a beautiful, secluded setting. It’s a drive of about two hours west from the centre of Madrid and its airport and there is a heliport nearby if you prefer to arrive by air.
